Welcome to the website of UnrealTower. Here you find all things Unreal Tournament and Guild Wars related that I wrote. Besides that, there also is the UnrealTower Web Engine.
Recently, the content of the site was split between UnrealTower and Stüvel IT. If you can't find what you're looking for here, it's worth to take a peek there. You can also use the search box at the top right - the search engine looks for pages in both UnrealTower and Stüvel IT.
2007-12-28 01:35 - UnrealTower closed
After not having updated the website in over a year and a half, I decided to officially close down UnrealTower. The interesting content has been moved to Stuvel.eu, and the not-so-interesting content has been deleted.
The future is at Stuvel.eu. See you there.
2006-04-10 18:43 - Website split
A lot of content from UnrealTower moved to my new site www.stuvel.eu. One of the reasons is that I'm running my own company, which is not allowed on a .org domain.
The old URLs still work, but redirect you to the new site, so you can take your time when updating your links, bookmarks, etc.
What remains here on UnrealTower are the Unreal Tournament related things, my Guild Wars character page, and the UnrealTower Web Engine information. The rest of the articles and software are moved to www.stuvel.eu.
2006-04-09 12:15 - Tunnelling module for OpenZaurus
I secure my home wireless network with OpenVPN. Unfortunately, my Zaurus running OpenZaurus 3.5.4.1-alpha1 doesn't have the required kernel module. I compiled my own so now I can use OpenVPN at home. Having a sharing mind, I put the module online for everybody to download: tun.ko. The module is compiled for kernel 2.6.15.
BIG FAT WARNING: this module has seen virually no testing. Being a kernel module, a flaw can brick your Zaurus. Use at your own risk. If you have any doubts at all, wait for an official release of the module. It's in alpha2 right now, soon to be released for testing.
2006-04-01 17:36 - A new drumkit!
Today I bought myself a new drumkit! It's a beefed-up Roland TD-8, with extra large snair and bass drum. The sound is absolutely awesome, and it plays even better than my acoustic kit. Now I can play day and night. I'm such a happy man!
2006-03-30 09:00 - Oooooh, what does this button do?
Below you see our good old PTT T65 telephone. I've managed to hook it up to our Asterisk VoIP PBX, and it works just great.
The only thing that bothers me, is the button on the bottom right. Can I use it with Asterisk? In Dutch, it's called "Aardtoets", and it used to be used to forward calls, just like the Flash key does now. Can anyone tell me if I can use this key with Asterisk? If you know more, please send me an email
2006-03-24 21:26 - Jabber AGI script
I've published my Jabber AGI script. With this script, you can have the Asterisk VoIP telephony server send Jabber messages.
